Story Collabs

There were several opportunities in Quilts & More to feature non-project-based stories. Some of those stories contained pick-up photography and others were created from scratch. The following are examples of stories that I worked on with freelance illustrators. After receiving the text from an editor, I would sketch ideas for visuals and then hand them off to the illustrator. The illustrators I used were not familiar with the topic, so I made sure to clearly communicate what I was looking for - often including notes and photo examples of tools specific to quilting.
